July 20, 2024When the phone came in, it was not factory reset from previous user. After resetting, all seemed fine for an hour. Then the screen began to bug out and have graphical issues (then loose all touchscreen capability). The phone then froze on the power off screen until I had to unplug the phone battery myself only to realize that the phone had obviously already been opened, because the screen adhesive was missing out the box. The battery health of the phone was also already down to 81% when I got it (not good). I decided to replace the screen and swap the battery with my old iPhone Xr and all seems better now. After opening, the inside of the phone has dust and obvious water damage (rust and residue). The loud speaker on the bottom is also not as loud as it’s supposed to be (compared to my other iPhone Xr)

July 26, 2024Picked this up because I needed a phone immediately. And now I’m obsessed. If you’re more into the sleek, elegant design of things, especially compared to the more bulky design iPhones have over the last few years, this phone is perfect for you. Be aware, it is slippery. Like, weirdly. You can’t really rest it against a blanket in “just the right spot” to watch your shows. It will most like slip, even on a grippy leather course. But, I still love it so much. Mine has some cracks now after some use and when this things breaks on me, I intend of getting an exact replica all over again. No matter how old the phone is, this was Apples best design in my opinion. This phone makes me feel successful when it’s in my hands.
DO. NOT. BUY.

April 9, 2024Around 2021 I purchased this phone slowly after a few months of use I could no longer use my volume up button. It completely stopped working slowly after my bottom volume button stop working so completely I could not use both my volume buttons and had to pull down and do my volume. How do you turn up brightness my Face ID does not work anymore. The phone is completely slow and does not help me in any way shape or form and just becomes an inconvenience. Yes for the price it’s good but for long-term affects and for long-term use, I do not recommend getting this phone. I’ve had many people have the same experience with their iPhone XR, but overall very disappointed by the slow battery and the slow controls do not recommend

July 25, 2024I loved this phone. It was an upgrade from a very old iPhone 5 or 6 that I had. I ended up getting the Xr on a great deal switching carriers and it lasted me for years. The battery life was solid for the first 2 years or so but it did eventually start draining quite a bit faster, although if I managed the brightness it lasted quite well. I was able to play games and run all kinds of high intensity apps all the time without much issue. The camera was/is a great camera. I have since gotten a new phone, but my old pictures still hold up great! While my new iphone14 plus is a huge step up, the Xr wasn’t a huge step down… if that makes sense. Always loved iPhones over androids any day of the week!
